"Gratefulness is the great task, the how of our spiritual work,
because, rightly understood, it re-roots us."
– Brother David Steindl-Rast, Co-founder of the Network for Grateful Living
I offer with you ‘gifts, talents and skills’ I’ve been handed by Life and great teachers with deep gratitude. I feel taught by everything, through looking and listening for profound depth in the simplest gesture. Anything touched by wisdom is profound.
By honoring my teachers in both human and in the more-than-human-world who have helped me through the ‘eye of the needle’ of what is most essential, exhilarating and agonizing, I’m honoring you.
A life-long explorer of human nature, the natural world and ‘our place in the family of things,’ I’m curious about and embedded in Eastern, Western, Nature and Shamanic paths of wisdom and psychospiritual understanding. I seek ledges and edges of challenging situations and aim with confidence to realize essential lightness of Being, a “secret undamaged self” recognized as our True Nature, ‘Divine Spark’ and known by many other names.
I’ve worked in a collaborative and professional way for 45 years, pioneering in integrative fields as a transpersonal psychotherapist, educator, mentor, eco-psychologist and a global citizenry activist with humanitarian and human rights issues. More recently, I’ve deepened my reflection and learning in dying, death and grieving as an internationally certified Death Awareness Educator.
I invite you to look at how you’ve been guided by your own direct experience, as this might be our starting point in meeting. I’m enthused to see how the integrated beams of my learning may be of benefit to you and your community and be mutually furthering for us both.
Ways of practicing are grounded in promoting your recognition of the Light within and befriending and releasing reluctance/shyness in ‘letting your life shine!’
