"The soul would have no rainbow had the eyes no tears."
- JV. Cheney
When we consider the cascade of crisis, it's easy to wonder if we are experiencing a Dark Night of the Soul of the World. Perhaps it's a Dark Night of the Ego as well, encapsulated unhappily in it's own demise.
We may judge our capacity to make a difference when confronting the shattering of positive projections and idealizations onto others, especially leaders. Experienc
ing chaos and unconscionable behavior can leave us afraid, contracted and depleted; claustrophobic in the darkest time of the year, 'as the world turns,' in the Northern hemisphere.
A Return of the Light at Winter Solstice is an invitation to remember and act as the radiance within! Our Rainbow Body, Light Body; colorfully prismatic resiliency always present regardless of outer circumstance.
And if we dream the world into Being as some wisdom traditions suggest, we remember there is more to dark than pain. We rejoice in returning to Source; the exquisite quality of a Night Rainbow of clear seeing and wisdom. Fine tuning our moral compass to the North Star of shining Spirit.
Reflective time and shimmering space allow for vision as far reaching as the night sky. Fresh illumined birthing from the fire in the belly of the earth, grounds our capacity to BE the solution of our most troubling dilemmas. Befriending gently and with discipline, our own tides of follies and frailties.
If it is how the Hermetics of Ancient Egypt shared, "As without, so within," how curious are you about the Night Rainbows of bioluminescence residing within each cell of your body? Infusing you with luminous Presence and precious capacity for acknowledging life as it is, in its dream-like form. And Being with what arises through the unsurpassable qualities of compassion, wisdom and power. Drawing energy to speak truth to false power when and where it serves the whole. Nurturing Life as an oceanic upwelling of profound inner peace and joy.
